People expect brands to be accessible, authentic and driven by purpose. Given these demands, brands must take action to demonstrate what they believe and how they can make people’s lives better. By doing so, they’ll develop an intuitive sense and find themselves in the right place at the right time.
Over the course of my career, I've been fortunate enough to put this philosophy into practice for brands such as Cheerios, ESPN, Yahoo!, Best Buy, Nestle Purina, Land O'Lakes, Caribou Coffee, Lucky Charms, Johnson & Johnson and more. All of this has been made possible by working for great companies such as GoKart Labs, General Mills, Colle+McVoy, space150 and Digital River.
I am a bit of a hybrid educationally-speaking, receiving my Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. I believe my M.B.A. offers a nice practical ying to my B.A.'s creative yang.
